What to do, minute by minute
1. Get comfortable
0:00–6:15Dim the lights, put your phone face-down, and lie down as if you were already going to sleep. Nothing here needs your effort.
2. Let the words carry you
6:15–12:30Don't try to follow the story closely. Let the images drift past — half-listening is exactly right.
3. Soften the body
12:30–18:45Unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders into the bed, and let your breathing slow on its own.
4. Drift
18:45–25:00If you fall asleep before the end, the session has done its job. If you're still awake, just keep resting — that counts too.
A morning where the world arrives one house at a time.
The fog came up from the river before anyone was awake. Fences appeared and disappeared. The baker's light was the only certain thing on the street. Sound travelled oddly — a gate two lanes away seemed to open at your elbow. By ten it would all be gone. Until then the village belonged to whoever was patient enough to stand in it.
